    JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION(JEE MAINS & ADVANCE)

    JEE is an entrance examination for engineering and architecture programs in India, primarily for admission to prestigious institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other centrally funded technical institutes.

    JEE is divided into two stages: JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
    JEE Main is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced and is also used for admission to NITs and other engineering colleges. JEE Advanced is specifically for IIT admissions.
    JEE Main is held twice a year, typically in January and April, with multiple sessions allowing flexibility. It is conducted in a computer-based format. JEE Advanced is conducted once a year, usually in May, and is also a computer-based exam.

    NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST(NEET)

    NEET is the sole entrance examination in India for undergraduate medical courses (MBBS/BDS) in government and private medical colleges, except for AIIMS and JIPMER.

    Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET replaced multiple medical entrance exams across states and institutions, streamlining the process and ensuring fairness.

    The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is typically conducted once a year, usually in the month of May, and in a pen-and-paper format

    Maharashtra Common Entrance Test(MHT-CET)

    MHT-CET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. It is primarily used for admission into undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture programs in colleges across Maharashtra.


    The exam serves as a gateway for students seeking admission into B.E./B.Tech, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, and B.Sc. Agriculture courses.
    MHT-CET comprises three sections:

    • Engineering:

      PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,MATHEMATICS (PCM)

    • Pharmacy & Agriculture:

      PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,BIOLOGY (PCB)

    • 3 hours with 1.5 hours dedicated to each group of subjects
    • Candidates need to have completed their 10+2 education
    • 200 marks
    • The syllabus is based on the Maharashtra State Board curriculum for Classes XI and XII, with approximately 80% weightage given to Class XII topics and 20% to Class XI topics.
